"Just be. " is about living in the now and not waiting for happiness sometime in the future. We produce clothing that encourages a low stress lifestyle, which is all about acceptance and self love.
Just be. Apparel was started by designer and yoga instructor Jason Pachol.
Discovering many activewear garments on the market are made in sweatshops, Pachol wanted to produce clothing that was fair trade and organic. In his research, he discovered sustainable bamboo viscose blended with organic cotton and other eco-friendly fabrics such as Tencel and Linen.
"My Father died at the age of 41 from brain cancer, due to his prolonged exposure to pesticides in my homeland Canada, so the issue is close to my heart. I want others to become more aware of the serious health risks associated with regular cotton farming and working with toxic chemicals."
Beyond our clothing being sustainable, it is also remarkably comfortable, breathes and washes well and can be worn for both fitness and leisure.
"As a full time instructor doing several classes a day, I found I needed to change tops as the synthetic fabrics I was wearing would start to smell and not dry quickly. I would often get a skin rash. I had a couple of prototypes of my designs done up and wore them to my yoga classes and people were coming to me asking where did you get your shirt from? I started taking orders straight away!"
As we continue to grow, more people are jumping on board in areas such as production, marketing, photography, and helping at events and festivals.
Please join our journey, so we can continue spreading our message on Instagram and Facebook.
